Solent Hotel and Spa

Lovely spa weekend. Booked as a gift for a special Birthday by a friend. We had a lovely time. Wonderful facial with Chloe, lovely meal and service from Luke. Amazing chill with a firepit and then easy sleep in our cozy modern hotel room. Top notch. Great service and attention from all the team

I had to review this amazing hotel after a lovely weekend with family and friends. Location is great, very handy for a little shopping too but a also has a country feel when sitting in the restaurant garden. The hotel has a relaxed and informal feel but very stylish, excellent quailty and run beautifully. The lodge rooms had everything you needed and are very well designed. Having a choice of restaurants was so good, both excellent. Every single member of staff we met was friendly, professional and couldn't do enough for us. Spa visit was very enjoyable, had a super massage and relaxing time there, staff again were amazing. Best customer service I've had in a long time, we will recommend and be back.

Disappointed With the restaurant and service, so disorganised and no structure, on our first night in the restaurant we were continually, asking for service, my meal was dry and over cooked I had missing parts to my meal, supervisor Jamie was understanding and gave reassurance that it should not happen again, On our second night it started positive George lead us to our table and said we were being served by a server, however we only had spoke with our server when we ordered. again we were having to get attention from servers. There was no structure supervisor was no where on the floor, you pay 5 star prices for 2 star service, Our room was nice and clean, the spa was lovely and the staff Reception staff where friendly and the bar staff Elle and Ben were great George from restaurant was friendly
