Solimar Aquamarine Resort

This is an excellent place to stay! I spent two incredible weeks there with my family. The food was delicious, the staff were really nice and the rooms were comfortable. The location is also great, near Chania. There is also a cute dog called Aqua who lives in the hotel and is a great companion for the kids.

2.5 stars in general, food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is most of the time cold/ cooled down, found a cockroach in shower, ant in my beans, gyros chicken had fried hairs. Dog in dining area although shes cute (her name is Aqua i think) doesn't bark a lot and is very friendly. Swimming pool is only 1.45m and there's a children's pool that's 0.40m (40cm). No slides, just pool, also theres a pool bar where you can get drinks and self service up the stairs to the left of the pool bars main window. Overall I think this hotel could get improved, good places to explore outside of Chania and i strongly recommend Elafonisi's Pink sand beach and lagoon.

Don't come here if you want a peaceful holiday. The pools are full of misbehaving children throwing things at other guests. I got hit in the head and the staff wasn't interested at all.
