It was our 3rd stay at this hotel and what to say... planning to return over and over again. Super nice staff, Ms. Manager is really taking care of the guests, asking how they enjoy the stay, recommending trips etc. The staff is super nice and professional, from receptionist, to the waiters in restaurant, bartenders, or room service... everyone was great and doing their best to ensure your vacation is a perfect experience. It is a really nice place to R&R where you want to return. Perfect base for your stay at the beautiful island of Crete.
We’ve just returned from our 8-day stay at the Turquoise. The hotel was clean and quiet. The pool area cosy and atmospheric. The staff were very polite and friendly, always ready to help. The hotel manager not only an elegant classy woman, but also a real professional. She made all the guests feel welcome, always greeted us with a smile that seemed genuine. The pool bar staff always smiled and did a wonderful job. The snacks and drinks could have been of better quality though. I didn’t enjoy the breakfast menu - nobody would leave the hotel hungry but comparing the menu to other all inclusive options I’d had experienced, it was rather disappointing. However, the lunch and dinner menus were much better. Themed menus serving dishes from different cuisine each night e.g. Mexican, Asian, Greek. Mouth-watering desserts. Stable and satisfactory wifi available by the pool or in the restaurant area. Do not understand why wifi isnt free in the rooms for all inclusive guests. All in all, it’s a great place to be.
We spent our holiday at this lovely hotel and overall, we enjoyed our stay. There are a few things we’d like to point out — both pros and cons. We really liked the food and the bright, spacious rooms. It was also great that the rooms were equipped with air conditioning. One downside was that guests staying in a different part of the building were not allowed to use the sunbeds directly by the beach — unless they paid €8 per day to use the paid ones. In our opinion, this doesn’t feel fair, as all guests should be treated equally. Another thing we missed was the lack of additional services such as a massage or spa area — that would have made the stay even better. As for towels, they were changed every two days, and beach towels could only be exchanged once during the entire stay, which we felt was not enough. Overall, we are satisfied, but the price doesn’t quite match the quality.
