I stayed here while doing my TEFL course and I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was always super helpful and very friendly! Room was beautiful and well kept. Any problems you might have the manager will always try to help you! Would definitely come and stay again

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly. The location was great. The room was actually upgraded for me from a smaller one free of charge. Only negative was that their was a stain on my pillow. The hotel driver picked us up and drove us around for a small humble fee but we ended up tipping him a lot anyways. It was a great experience and a huge room for the price. Would stay here again.

We were referred to Solitaire hotels by the TEFL school close by, to live there for the month long duration of our training with them. We thought we could trust the school to have our best interests at heart which is why we agreed to the over priced accommodation but it soon became apparent that the hotel was not conducive for a long stay. With electricity being billed at 70$ per week! There is no kitchen available which does not serve a month long stay at all while house keeping only came once a week, the bedding was always stained and smelled stale and we suffered bed bugs, the matress was also extremely uncomfortable and everything was stained and dirty. They never washed the floors and the toilet drains gave off a terrible smell. At times the aircon didn't work and the switches would give off sparks while at other times the lights would simply flicker in the room. The room we stayed in was right next to the pool pump so there was contant noise which inhibited our sleep and made for a torture like experience. Although the manager tried to accommodate us they refused to give us our money back saying that we would be opting out of the contract but it was clear that they were not delivering a service appropriate to the exorbitant price we paid. This place is definitely not worth the money that one pays, even though everything looks good on the surface after just a few days the true condition of it starts to surface. It was definitely not pleasurable to stay there and the TEFL people simply gaslit us, saying it's our own fault that we are there because we took the accommodation on their referral. I feel it is important to warn as many people as possible to be very weary of booking accommodation but especially if you are wanting to do a TEFL certificate, watch out the online reviews are not always true or accurate. Be very careful and seek out first hand experience from people. These people were definitely untrustworthy.
