S'Olivaret Fornalutx

Absolutely loved our stay here. Location feels rural but not too far out of town. Every single thing we ate was delicious, including the breakfast which was varied with a lot of fresh fruit options. Service was attentive and friendly. Very welcoming to our 4 month old despite the hotel having quite an adult vibe. Room and bar interiors are full of interesting furniture / art so it felt like a really unique place to stay. Also worth noting there was a big wedding on site on the Saturday but the noise / disruption to hotel guests was absolutely zero which was appreciated. I also had a fantastic massage at the spa with Monica who was very professional and knowledgable about how to tailor the treatment to get the best result.

This place is incredible. We stayed two nights, wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was amazing - I think at the time all they had was a suite left which was expensive but it was like an apartment with a massive terrace with sitting area, loungers, a double hammock and incredible views of the mountain. In fact, this hotel is in a valley between two mountains. The grounds are spectacular, the pool was lovely (albeit not heated so a bit chilly!), and you can feel the history. It was originally a place that produced olive oil so you can see inside the main hotel the original parts of the building including stone work where production was done. So many nooks to chill out in both inside and out, a bar area, fireplace, etc. The breakfast, which is included, was amazing. Spoiled for choice! And the dinners were delicious with wonderful service. I wish we had more time here as we would have loved to hike from the trails around the property. It is so quiet at night, the stars were spectacular. This is a true retreat and I would return in a heartbeat!

My girlfriend has stayed here many times before and so I knew this hotel was going to be great. The staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly and make such a pleasant atmosphere. The food is solid and it is such a peaceful resort and located in a beautiful part of the island. Their breakfast is so yummy and they make you a personal omelette with your choice of toppings. Some great hiking opportunities from the hotel too. Enjoy.
