Our family vacation began at The Solly Hotel, with four rooms booked. From the beginning of our stay to the end, it was nothing short of WONDERFUL! The hotel is beautiful, rooms are comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Paul, in particular, was an Angel, helping us load luggage and communicate with our driver as we were unexpectedly rushing to catch our train…all AFTER his shift had ended and he was off the clock! We wholeheartedly recommend The Solly Hotel and when back in Paris, this will be our home base again!

We stayed at Solly Hotel and arrived late in the evening to find our room clean and ready for us. The hotel’s location is excellent—central and convenient. Service and hospitality were outstanding, making our stay very pleasant and comfortable. The hotel offers great amenities, and the breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety of options to start the day.

I booked a stay at Solly Hôtel Paris two weeks ago but due to an unforeseen family medical emergency, I was forced to cancel. I provided documentation of a cancer diagnosis and explained that I needed to stay home to care for my aunt who was going to travel with me on this Paris trip. Despite this, and despite the fact that my trip was still two months away, the hotel refused to issue any kind of refund or credit or change of future date. Their response was cold and robotic, hiding behind their “non-refundable” “non changeable” policy with zero compassion or flexibility. This wasn’t a change of mind—it was a genuine emergency, and I even provided a doctor’s note. Most reputable hotels would show basic human decency in situations like this. It’s clear this is about money, not hospitality. The room could easily be rebooked, yet they chose to keep the payment. Disappointing, heartless, and a reminder that not all hotels value their guests. I would strongly advise against booking here if you want peace of mind or any customer care. Policies should not be so rigid that they override basic empathy and ethics.
