One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in and the best in Helsinki. From the comfortable and spacious room, to the helpful and friendly staff, the phenomenal breakfast, and the nice outdoor bar/restaurant on the ground floor, and the panoramic view from the rooftop bar, we could not have been more pleased with our visit. All of Helsinki's top attractions are nearby by walking (5-15 min) as well practical matters [eg, taxi stand, and a laundry, pesunet]. The Torni is also Helsinki’s first skyscraper. We will definitely be back on future trips to Helsinki.
Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city walking distance to the main station and trams to take you elsewhere. Close to everything you need as well as tons of nice restaurants and cafes. Rooms are sleek and elegant as expected and the beds are super comfy. Breakfast was outstanding. The barley porridge with the homemade blueberry and cardamom jam is divine.
I’ve taken a star off because the room doesn’t have proper blackout shades!! This is of course a must right now (June) when sunset is at 11 pm and sunrise is at 4 am. I was shocked. Apart from that oversight, the location is excellent, the staff is helpful, the gym is decent, the breakfast buffet is good, and the rooms are fine for the price.
