Somerset Heping Shenyang

Smooth check in and check out process, walking distance to railway station and Zhongshan square, huge shopping street just beside the building. Large apartment with a bedroom+ TV, family area+ TV, pantry with oven, cooking utensils and good quality cutlery. Separate small with washing machine plus dryer, also provided soap powder and dish cleaning liquid. Very comfortable bed and sofa with nice view of Shenyang city. Buffet breakfast is good with local and western variety. Taxi from Taiyuan airport cost 85 Yuan and 40 minutes.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Somerset Heping! Location was pretty good; central and next to the Shenyang Train Station. There is a convenience store downstairs, and various food options just down the street. Rooms were well appointed and service excellent. For example, when we left the signs on the door for no cleaning, the staff still approached to make sure bottles of water were provided for us if needed. The staff also arranged transport to the airport for a very reasonable fee. We requested for early check-in and really appreciate getting it confirmed before our trip. Overall, we felt well taken care of, and would choose Somerset Heping again. A couple of (very) minor suggestions for improvement: - We stayed in room 1620 and a couple of the doors were a tight fit and hard to close (albeit still possible with some force). - Would be good to have some signs that allow more eco-friendly services. Eg clearing of room trash and topping up of water etc without having the bedsheets and towels changed.

The service was wonderful. They can send a robot to your room if you tell them to. And the beds were very comfy. Their breakfast is mostly Chinese food, but its really good. They also have a indoor kids playground and a game room for the adults. You can also do golf indoors but you have to pay at the front desk. Overall it was great!
