Somerset West Bay Doha

My Experience at somerset was fantastic. the hotel had a modern welcoming atmosphere, and the room was spacious and well maintained. the staff was professional and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. i specially appreciated the [kids area, coffee shop, billiards room, mini mart location]. overall, it was a great stay, and i would highly recommended it to others.

We stayed in a fully furnished two bedroom apartment for about 6 months. The rooms suited us really well and in most cases the furnished amenities were in really great condition. Only complaints was the couch in the living room was hard as a rock, and the Internet in the apartment was pretty patchy/ only really worked in the living room. After asking for tech support several times, I just gave up. Generally the staff were awesome. Especially the cleaning staff who did a great job cleaning the apartment two times a weeks. They were quick, place cleaned in 10-15 minutes and always provided fresh towels etc. also they are discrete and very very polite. Location is fair, it’s pretty close to the city centre, and the W hotel, Dusit and the hotel bar is okay. One great point about this place is it has a convenience store in the building which rare and in the hotter months a great feature. Plus the staff a great and they deliver to the room. But given the central location in the diplomatic area of west bay the road design dictates that it’s a bit of a maze to get in and out, always adding a minute or so to the commute. Over all great place and I would recommend.

The Hotel Staff is very helpful and kind What is really upsetting was the fire alarm device in the ceiling with green light flashing every second The AC is noisy. All other things were just as expected. Thanks and definitely I will give another visit hopefully.
