Thank you Antonia for our stay at your beautiful hotel - it is rare to find a place where you are made to feel so welcome. The hotel itself is small (4 rooms in Antonia’s house), with large, clean bedrooms. We found the bed very comfortable, it was useful to have a fridge in the room, and there was plenty of storage and hanging space. Views from the breakfast terrace and pool are far-reaching, peppered with kestrels and swifts, framed by bougainvillea. Breakfast is delicious and locally sourced - meats/ sobrasada, cheese, bread from the bakery, eggs, fresh tomatoes and fruit. Campanet is beautiful and easy to walk and drive around. There is a free car park a few hundred yards from the hotel, which we found a space in each evening. There is a good selection of local restaurants, and Antonia will happily advise where to go and what to do. Highly recommend staying here - we were very sad to leave! Thank you again.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Hotel Son Colom. The house is private, clean and beautifully decorated with antique furnitures (including emperor bed from the 17th century), and is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre of Campanet We enjoyed sunbathing by the swimming pool and having our breakfast (not included) at the kitchen outside. Our host Antonia runs the place by herself, maintains and designs the place exceptionally well paying full tribute to Spanish architecture and decor. She may appear as a direct person, please don’t take her wrong as she has no bad intentions and only wants to make things clear. We get along with her really well and are missing the place already.
We visited the place a while ago, two times, house is beautiful and authentic. First time all was ok but second time landlady was quite unpleasant host. She is everywhere and makes clear this is her home and she does whatever she wants, no matter which room you have booked or which terms agreed on the booking. She can change them at any given point, being rude at the same time, so if you visit the place make sure you talk and agree with her everything well in advance.
