I’d highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here for 6 nights in June. It was the perfect escape - quiet and in a beautiful setting but close enough to the beach (15 mins in a car) and the nearby town (5 mins in a car). It’s situated between farms and olive groves and is very tranquil. Everything is in really good condition, it’s clearly well maintained. The pool is in good condition and there’s a lovely area to relax by the pool and take in the views. It’s very clean and the staff are exceptionally helpful friendly and attentive. We found it really good value for money and would definitely come back. I’d say you definitely need a car so you can explore the nearby beaches and what Mallorca has to offer. We stayed here with a family of 14. Ages from ten to 80. We had the absolute best time. Lovely place. Well maintained, beautiful area and super clean, modern houses/rooms/suites. The place was fully booked but it didn't feel overcrowded or noisy at any time. The pool/gym area is well laid out. Super friendly and helpful staff, even though the high season demands a lot of them. Breakfast is very good, especially the local produce (try the olive oil!). The restaurant is generally very good, not the best paella we have had, but for example the grilled fish platter is excellent. Prices for drinks and food are very reasonable. We had the perfect family holiday. Thank you to the whole team at Son Trobat!

Hotel Son Trobat is the perfect place when you look for a the hotel outside the crowded tourist spots, don't fancy a nightlife and doesn't mind being not close to the beach (closest beach is 12km away) and in "middle of nowhere". However, its location also has some benefits. Next to being in a quiet area, there is always a breeze which make sitting next to the pool bearable in high summer. Moreover, it's good located to explore the Eastern part of Mallorca and Palma is only 45 minutes driving away. The hotel doesn't offer animation other than a tennis court, table tennis, swimming pool (both indoor and outdoor) some board games and fitness area. However, one doesn't need much more as you'll come to this hotel for relaxation, not to be animated. Moreover, the restaurant is excellent and the bar has a terrace where you can sit till midnight. During our visit, the guests were mostly large families and young couples sometimes with small children. Moreover, this hotel seems to be very popular with both Spanish and German tourists (maybe even more Spanish than German). The staff was very friendly and flexible. Rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel areas itself was very clean and it showed that the took notice of detail. As such it was a very pleasant hotel. Actually, I don't have any complaint and did everything what it supposed to do in such a way that it felt like being at home. As such highly recommended if you search for a holiday as described in the first paragraph.
