To correct it straight away, I found a huge, ultra-modern refrigerator in the kitchen! This finca is simply great for those looking for relaxation. No traffic can be heard, just lots of sounds of nature and the many animals on the farm, which I would describe as an agrofinca. It's a shame that there are no cats or dogs there, but then a different feeding concept than the one currently used would probably be necessary. At the moment, an agency employee comes unannounced every three days; who has taken over the management of the finca on behalf of the owners and drives the van past the house down to the animals. For me it was around 5:30 p.m. Then all the animals are fed. There are about a dozen male and female peacocks, a number of different ducks and chickens, also two turkeys and a few other large birds that I'm not familiar with. There is also a small herd of delicate goats with a big buck. Unfortunately, they are a bit shy, like to take treats but won't let themselves be petted. I had to save a kid. It had stuck its head inextricably through the fence and was standing upside down between the water barrel and the fence. There is also a herd of sheep, but they are also quite shy. Only after a week do they stop running away from you as long as you spend a long time around them every day. And you can do that very well with the real highlight of the finca, the four extremely trusting, gentle, calm and lovely donkeys. There are three mares and one stallion. So there might be offspring from time to time. I didn't have the problem with the house that the birds pooped all over everything on the terrace. When I saw them, I just walked out and they fled. I gave the five stars with reservations, provided that a few things can be improved: Increasing the hardness of the water to a reasonable value of around 7. At the moment the water is being descaled to 0 or 1. As a result, you need tons of water and time to get soap off your skin, especially your hands and feet. A permanent lubricating film remains, which you transfer to all the vessels in the bathroom, for example, and which therefore easily slip out of your fingers. It's less fun with the toothbrush glass. And I almost slipped twice in the shower, which could have ended fatally with me falling into the glass partition. As a workaround, I then got hard water from the garden shower. This removes the soap immediately. I always heat up some of the water in the microwave for a small plastic bottle for showering. There are no useful hangers for towels in the bathroom and kitchen. The replacement was the open window and the open doors of the vanity unit in the bathroom. The white antenna connection cables of the television in the living room are 10 to 15 cm too short to be able to pivot the television optimally for the sofa set. The huge windows at the top of the bedrooms have practically no sun protection and heat up accordingly. You can cool down with the air conditioning, but that is neither healthy nor sustainable. I got the missing egg cups. But an egg picker is still missing. No dishwashing liquid was provided, although promised, but none came during my stay. The showers only have rain simulation heads, so the water only comes vertically from above, and there are no hand showers. There is also a lack of storage space in the bathrooms. You can't take the soap with you into the shower because otherwise it will get completely soaked. Because of the soft water you also have to shower longer than usual.
Very nice finca, in the middle of a small zoo. Everything isn't perfect, but I don't expect that here either. Before you get upset, just drink a glass of wine and lend a hand yourself! Cool people will surely find relaxation here!
The Good: We stayed at the property as a family of 4 for 10 nights. The property has lots of space, so it's perfect for a family. There is a grill, a few tables, both inside and outside, so you can spend your time both inside and outside. There are lounge chairs and animals that give character to the property. You won't have issues with the parking. The property is isolated, you won't have issues with the noise from the neighbours (even though there are houses nearby that play music in the evening). If the agency handling the property and the owners would be decent human beings, this property would be amazing. The Bad: The agency that manages the property and the owners are appalling. The biggest issue was caused by a lack of cleanliness. The property has animals, some of the animals (peacocks) roam the property freely. During our 10 nights stay there was a lot of peacock excrement on the terrace. We couldn't clean the excrement because there were no tools for that purpose. At the end of the stay, the excrement amount was very large, so we didn't use the outside space anymore. We complained to the agency but they did nothing! We have nothing against the animals, we enjoyed their company and their charm, but having excrement all over the property is not hygienic nor normal. Another big issue is the fridge. In the booking.com photos, they had a new large green fridge that can create ice. In reality, the fridge is old, rusty and with a door that doesn't close, your food getting spoiled. If you look at the what people on booking.com said in the reviews, they complained about the fridge like us and they were said that the fridge will be replaced after the stay. We also found ants in the bedrooms! The agency sent a man that got rid of the ants after a few days. They only provided two towels per person for 10 nights. In the booking.com pictures the lounge chairs have towels, but when we arrived at the property there were none. It took 5 days of back-and-forth with the agency to get the towels. There are no instructions on what to do with the trash. There is a large bin outside the property, but it can get full quickly. When we asked about what to do with the bin, they said that we should throw where we see fit someplace outside the city. Yes, they were serious with that suggestion! There is noise in the morning from animals, so you might be awaken by that. Nobody will come to clean the property or the terrace during your stay. There is no toilet paper, shampoo, USB charging ports. The communication is very slow, the agency says they cannot do anything for most issues. Laughable! See the photos with the ants in the bedroom, the excrements on the terrace (even on the windows) and the ancient and broken fridge!
