Very nice hotel, we had a wonderful stay here and warm reception from Duyen at the reception. Also had lots of help from the guys driving the buggies, always smiling and no complaints at all. We also used the bar and lounge every single day. We will definitely be back! Keep up the wonderful service and good job! Looking forward to the new water slides 🛝
We stayed here for 5 nights in a 3-bedroom villa, trusting the 5-star rating. Unfortunately, it did not live up to even basic expectations. The villa looked good but was missing essentials — no utensils or cutlery in the kitchenette, and no international power sockets or adapters available. For a resort marketed at this level, that’s unacceptable. The food was a major issue. A few of us had stomach problems. Live cooking stations looked promising but the chefs refused to cook displayed items or accommodate simple requests like adding salt. Very few options for those avoiding pork, beef, or lard. Disappointing for a resort catering to international guests. The airport transfer was shared, cramped, and uncomfortable. The driver smoked in front of children and we had to wait a long time for another family. Our luggage wasn’t handled separately — we were crammed onto a buggy with it, which is not what you expect from a resort experience. Worst of all was the lack of support from the concierge. Our flight was delayed by one hour and they refused even a 1-hour late checkout, despite clearly having empty villas. They wouldn’t even make a local call to the airline. The warm welcome at check-in was a complete contrast to the cold, unhelpful treatment we received at the end. The resort has no activities — no water sports, no indoor games, not even a simple recreation space. Even the lobby was uncomfortably warm, with barely working air-conditioning. The staff themselves were polite, but it’s clear the problem lies in poor management, rigid policies, and a lack of attention to guest experience. We chose this resort expecting a true 5-star stay — we left frustrated and disappointed. Would not recommend. ★☆☆☆☆
While the island is growing quickly in terms of infrastructure and tourism, it seems that service standards and staff training haven’t fully kept pace. Communication proved challenging, as many staff members had very limited English proficiency. Housekeeping was inconsistent—towels were taken away during cleaning but not replenished, and some areas of the room were left uncleaned. On top of that, I was surprised to be asked to pay nearly 400,000 VND for a towel that already had visible stains, which felt rather unreasonable.
