Sonder At Second Second

We had a great stay at Sonder North Loop. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The amenities are very nice including a pool, sauna, fitness center and lots of lounge areas to hang out and enjoy the views. Great location with lots of places to walk to. Very clean and modern rooms. Would definitely stay again!

I just spent 10 days in the Sonder and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were always polite and ready to help. The room was so clean and put together very well. The only issue I had was the shower head was very low but in the end I can always crouch down to fit under it haha. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has never stayed with sonder this was my second one I've stayed in and they have been wonderful experiences the twins field being right there was amazing and there were many parking options. If there is anyone complaining about noise they are being dramatic, it's a big city it's obviously going to have noise that's life. If noise is an issue don't stay in a big city it's as simple as that. I would love to stay at this Sonder again it was truly amazing I can't say it enough!!!!

*PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR BOOKING & PAYMENT ARE CONFIRMED IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE* Have previously had a great experience staying at this Sonder. However, their recent partnership with Marriott seems to have totally messed up what used to be a very seamless booking process. Long story short: I had a reservation confirmed, and then cancelled because my card wouldn’t integrate into the Marriott system. (The same card that worked fine with previous bookings). After multiple conversations (email, phone, text) with Sonder reps saying it would be sorted - when I arrived, I was eventually told I wouldn’t be able to stay, because they couldn’t “open up” the Marriott booking system. There was no way of me paying for a room on site. I had to book last-minute accommodation elsewhere to avoid sleeping on the street. Whilst this is mainly a systems issue, when I mentioned that I’d likely leave a 1 star review if I couldn’t stay, the reps’ response was “I don’t appreciate blackmail”. This felt like a very bizarre thing to say, given the circumstances. My 2 takeaways: - I personally won’t be re-booking at Sonder until it’s clear that the Marriott booking system is fixed. - To management, PLEASE prioritise fixing this ASAP. The beauty of Sonder was being able to stay in great accommodation at a low price, with a quick & easy booking process. Based on my recent experience, the partnership with Marriott is on course to ruin that. I hope things can be fixed soon!
