In its current state, this hotel/"motel", is not suitable for entertaining guests, particularly those with medical issues. Main issues: 1. Old property which appears poorly maintained. 2. Musty foul odor throughout the building. 3. Clearly has a major roach infection problem as evidenced by my own experience, and several other reviews online. 4. Location is difficult to find (even with the use of a GPS), as it seems to be located behind other establishments and does not seem to have its own dedicated entrance. Very strange. 5. Carpets appeared dirty which may be the source of the odor; AC unit and refrigerator were old and noisy - not conducive to restful sleep. If you suffer from allergies, you'll likely have a problem. 4. Appears understaffed. One example of this is that the shuttle driver doubled as front desk representative. Pros: 1. They have a shuttle to nearby hospital. 2. The friendly skeletal staff try their best to offset the deficiencies but despite their best efforts, the challenges are insurmountable. In my opinion, this hotel should be closed tarped and fumigated. They should also either do a total gut job or demolish and relocate the building. I'm being generous.
This hotel is thee worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room didn’t look clean. We sat down to eat in the suite and roaches were crawling on the counters. There were big and small. I went to use the restroom and when I went to get some toilet tissue, a roach came out from the inside of the roll. We went downstairs to report it. The front desk clerk said there was nothing she could do because the whole building was booked. The shower curtain did not stick with the magnets to the tub and the water went all over the floor. The tub was super slippery too. There were no floor towels available for when we got out of the shower. We had no hand soap. The ac didn’t run cold enough. The room was stuffy. I woke up the second morning with roaches on the bed. They ran my card to hold for “incidentals”, and ended up charging $50 to my card! I don’t know why. We didn’t even spend much time because we were out the majority of the two days we stayed there. They didn’t have complimentary breakfast. The pool looked greenish and unappealing. Now I’m having to file a fraudulent claim with my bank. They also say that they have shuttle service and they do not. It’s a HORRIBLE place to stay.
My mom booked a room due to proximity to the hospital for June 25, 2025 and we was told over the phone it was an accessible room with 2 beds. Got there and it was a pull out sofa in a 1 bedroom suite. The ac was only in the main area of the 2 rooms and it wasn’t the best. Then they offered us connected rooms but they stank like weed. It is supposed to be a no smoking hotel. Then as we was gathering up our stuff to move to another hotel someone was in a room smoking cigarettes. Needless to say i had a headache and my throat hurt from the smells. The front desk lady apologized and refunded the money. My question is if your a non smoking hotel why are y’all allowing this?
