Decent, bare bones, staff-less hotel in a great location and a cool old building. Good for a short stay. I will gladly come book again, for stays of 2 nights or less, as there is no turndown service included. Steps from the best restaurants and Galleries in the city, and the Basilica and other tourist attractions. Room was tidy, 4 comfy pillows, but lacked a desk. The usual cheap hotel hair dryer provided, also an iron, ironing board, small fridge, kettle, and lovely Davines shampoo, conditioner, soap in the bathroom. Room was facing the street, which was a bit noisy at night, but they provided earplugs and a white noise machine, which is thoughtful. The room layout is appropriate for a single adult or a couple, I would say this is not kid-friendly stay as the shower door is heavy glass. The blinds don’t block the sun entirely, so bring a sleep mask. I enjoyed the large windows during the day. I don’t mind staff-less hotels as I’ve stayed in a few in other countries and I enjoy the convenience of self-check in, but if you prefer daily turndown service and amenities at a hotel, then I’d suggest exploring other options.
Hi, This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I visited Montreal on a business trip and booked this hotel through the official Marriott website, expecting the same quality and service I’ve experienced at other Marriott properties like Courtyard and Residence Inn. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far below expectations. The rooms were cramped and noisy, with no proper reception or housekeeping. It felt more like a detention center than a hotel. I stayed for 7 nights, and not once was the room cleaned. When I requested cleaning, I was told it would cost over $50 per service — completely unreasonable. To make matters worse, the reservation was non-refundable, so I was stuck for the entire duration despite the poor conditions. This hotel does not reflect the Marriott brand I trust. I strongly advise others to avoid this property.
Don’t book here unless you are a under thirty computer nerd Marriot’s says once you book and log in thru can’t help Sonder says call anyone but them or call Marriott ..Marriot couldn’t fix it . Nicelocation. It’s a five password experience. Don’t ask for supervisor Tv doesn’t work no hair in room Instructions on how to get into hotel, code for elevator , code for room all arcane and not intuitive I satfortwohours trying to get in room. Called help, they said they could not let me in room. No mention in room reservation info about this. Asked for supervisor . Stone walled Tv only ran chrome casts I asked for refund or transfer to a Marriot. No deal? No effort to make it right Ghastly experience.
