Sonesta ES Suites Dallas Park Central

Stayed 12/4/21. We loved it! Staff, eventhough he was by himself, did an amazing job helping us with our luggage and reservation. Everyone was kind and accommodating. The pool was nice and clean. The room was spacious with a kitchen that has an oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and even a garbage disposal. The king sized bed was clean and comfortable. Our entire stay was well worth the $100/day room charge.

I want to start off my review by saying that I am a loyal Sonesta customer and this location will not sway my decision to stay at one again in the future, but I do want to be really clear that this is not at all what I expected. I guess my expectations were just high, and from the pictures that are posted, it can be quite confusing. It looks like the pictures are from the location next door that has been sold. That is really a hotel I would stay at, but this one was less than ideal. When we first walked in, it smelled horrible and I believe this is something they are aware of since they do have automatic sprayers to mask the smell in both the hallways and the rooms. The furniture is old. Our chair in the "living room" area was destroyed and falling apart. There were no privacy sheer curtains so we couldn't open our windows without someone seeing everything which was not ideal. We came to relax but it was a lot to get used to. I will say the bed was extremely comfortable, but that is it. The staff was very friendly and helpful so no complaints about the customer service. If you're going to book here, look through all the photos and prepare yourself. I really wish they would update those as I think it's important for transparency. Will I stay here again when I visit? Absolutely not this location.

This place is...adequate. Adequate in the sense that I decided it wasn't worth finding a new place. A coworker accidentally booked us here instead of the Sonesta Select next door (which is great.) Staff were very friendly and helpful, but this place is old, run down, and smelly. Bed skirt and furniture were stained, broken tiles in the bathroom, poor lighting, sink didn't really drain, and bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. Breakfast options were very limited and printer in the business center was out of ink. Wouldn't stay again.
