Nothing but amazing things to say about this hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive, restaurant food was delicious, my husband and I had the crab cakes and cheeseburgers which we would highly recommend. In the restaurant we had the pleasure of having a conversation with the general manager Raymond, such a wonderful and friendly person. This hotel is absolutely beautiful, clean, smells amazing and overall just a wonderful place. In all of our future trips to Baltimore my family and I will absolutely be staying at the Inner Harbor. We were very impressed!
Booked here last minute for a concert. Location is amazing, and just a quick walk through a courtyard to get to the Arena. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, letting us check in early/check out late. The lobby is very nice. We were on floor 5 and a king room right off the elevator. The hallway did smell like smoke which did seep into the room a bit. I’m not sure if people are actually smoking in the hotel or if it’s just an old building that was improperly redone. We left our window open and put a towel along the bottom of the door which resolved most of the residual smell. The rooms have been redone nicely. There was some water damage on the walls, but nothing major or too unsightly…it’s an old building, so I’m not too surprised. The room felt clean except for maybe the rug, which could probably use a good shampoo. The hotel was quiet but you could hear everything in the hallway, and the elevator door ding every time someone used it. If you are a light sleeper, perhaps request a room far away from the elevator. All in all it was an okay stay for one night and I think the staff are excellent. I would probably only book again if there was a good deal however.
I stayed here for two nights and had a pretty bad experience. First, check-in took almost two hours even though we arrived on time. We were told the rooms weren’t clean yet, which didn’t make sense at check-in time. When we finally got the room, it smelled strongly like smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. We aired it out, but the smell stayed. There was a spider and a fly in the bathroom, and the room wasn’t cleaned the next day. When we asked, they said we had to request housekeeping, but no one told us that when we checked in. We asked for clean towels since the room wasn't cleaned, and they said they had no clean linens at all. One of our blankets even had blood on it, and they didn’t have another to replace it. One person in our group had to sleep with just a sheet. Staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. The room was small for two queen beds, the fridge was tiny, and there were no extra pillows or blankets in the closet. The only good thing I can say was that it was quiet at night. I wouldn’t stay here again.
