Outstanding Service Makes This Hotel Shine We had a wonderful stay at the Sonesta in Bogotá, and the standout element was without a doubt the exceptional staff. From the concierge to the front desk, restaurant staff, and management, everyone was warm, attentive, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them. Their professionalism and kindness truly set the tone for our stay and are what make this hotel so special. A particular highlight was the breakfast buffet—especially the selection of fresh local fruits, which were vibrant, delicious, and a perfect way to start each day. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very centric and accessible. A big mall is right across the street from it so shopping is 2 minutes away. Their steak restaurant was very good, although slow for service. The meats were of excellent quality, offering Colombian and Argentinian cuts. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The service, in particular Cristian was 5 stars.

I rarely write reviews, but this one is well deserved. Whenever I’m in Bogotá, this hotel is my go-to choice. Every aspect of it exudes hospitality—from the reception to the maintenance team, from the restaurant staff to room service. Even the security guard (the same familiar face for years) goes the extra mile, always willing to discuss extending closing hours when needed. Their business packages are fair to excellent; I regularly use their offices and meeting rooms, and the service is consistently outstanding. Technical issues? No problem. Whether it’s cables, air conditioning, last-minute adjustments to rooms, or support during meetings, the team handles everything seamlessly. They anticipate your needs and consistently go above and beyond. This hotel is a true example of exceptional hospitality—professional, personal, and always willing to take that extra step. Highly recommended!
