Sonesta Hotel Cusco

We had a lovely stay at the Sonesta Hotel Cusco. The hotel is clean, quiet, and in a convenient location — just a short walk or quick ride to the historic center. In the lobby, they offer complimentary coca and mint tea along with cookies, which was a really nice touch and helpful for adjusting to the altitude. The breakfast buffet was generally very good, with a wide range of options — eggs, fruit, breads, juices, and more. However, on one of the mornings when breakfast opened early, there was very little food available, which was disappointing as we had an early tour. There’s also a small coffee shop inside the hotel for quick drinks or snacks. Just across the street, there’s a local market where you can browse or buy souvenirs and gifts, which was super convenient. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and would definitely recommend Sonesta Cusco for a relaxing base during your time in the city.

Hotel staff speak and understand English very well. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Rooms were clean. Although location is walking distance to squares etc there was a night club making banging music till early hours of morning.

Sonesta Cusco Hotel offers a great location, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast that made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though some could use a bit of an upgrade in terms of décor and amenities to match the overall quality of the service. One thing to note: the street noise in the mornings can be a bit disruptive, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Despite that, the experience was pleasant, and we would definitely consider staying here again. Solid four stars!
