Sonesta Miami Airport

I believe a few rooms—or possibly the entire floor or hotel—have been recently remodeled. The lobby, bar, and restaurant look lovely and well-maintained. The room was clean, with brand-new fittings and fixtures, giving it a fresh and modern feel. If the property continues to be maintained this well, it will easily be one of the best places to stay near Miami Airport in the $200 range. The shuttle service is convenient, running every 20 minutes on the hour from the hotel. Staff were cordial and courteous throughout my stay.

This hotel has my favorite rooms!!! It recently got renovated and I'm a sucker for the new rooms. Super clean and LOT'S of lighting. I had the chance to try their dinner and breakfast menus too and truly, some of the most delicious food I've had. The churrasco (skirt steak) was PERFECT, and I've had a lot of those (it's my favorite food). Also, their drinks are excellent. Susana Reyes, also, was wonderfully kind and helpful, making my stay feel truly extravagant at every whim. Thank you so much Sonesta! Can't wait till I come back again!

I had an unexpectedly wonderful experience at this property on Sunday 7/20. Arrived late (2200) at night - tired after a long day and a cancelled flight- with an airline voucher reservation. The young man at the front desk was upbeat and professional- and extremely sympathetic about the fact I had to check out at 3:30 AM to go back to the airport. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The pillows were top notch! The shuttle ran on time and the drivers were friendly. I had not stayed at a Sonesta property before, but I will look for them at my next destination!
