Convenient location to everything. Our room was exceptionally clean. The staff was so very warm, inviting yet professional. The breakfast is phenomenal!! Scrumptious waffles, the white gravy!! Hash brown casserole. Again they appreciated us and were amazing. Our granddaughter loved the spiny chairs LOL Will be back.
We'll start out saying that the room was a very luxurious room minus the hole that was in the wall. Other than that it was a very, very very extravagant hotel for us to be in very very nice. My son used the gym for one of the amenities and he says that it was very scantily equipped. Prices were a bit high for food though but it is kind of a high-end hotel.
Booking on the site was very easy. The problem was that about 30 minutes after we got there, the fire alarms started going off. We were going to call the office to see if we needed to evacuate, but the phones didn’t work. When we got to the desk, they said someone had been smoking in the stairwell and they were trying to find them. We went back to the room and the fire alarms went off again about 10 minutes later. This continued to happen for several hours. They managed to fix the fire alarms not going off, however, the flashing light from the alarms would not turn off so our whole room was a strobe light. By 11 PM, we had had enough and I was told we would be moved to a different room because there was an electrical issue. We moved to the new room and the alarm went off another three times before finally letting us sleep. In the morning when we went to breakfast, the man putting the breakfast out was very hateful and told us that we couldn’t even look at what they were putting out because we were 30 minutes early, and then he continued to gripe at everyone sitting in the dining room, waiting for the food to be ready. I overheard him telling someone at the desk that he was tired of dealing with us already. We were not offered anything for our troubles. The girls at the desk that night were friendly and apologetic, but hospitality is a big determination of whether I will stay somewhere again.
