Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina

Great location and good amenities. Service was good. I would have given 5 stars, but the valet and luggage were separate services. Perhaps it should be stated during the introduction. I tipped the valet only to discover he only placed my luggage on the cart. He did tell me to just call them when i was ready, but that would have required another tip, in my eyes. Otherwise, it was good.

What a delightful getaway! The hotel is gorgeous! The smell in the lobby is DIVINE! Service is amazing, the staff are all happy to make you feel at home. I called asking about any romantic extras, and they comped us an upgrade to an ocean-view room! The bed was very comfortable. The onsite bar was a great place to watch the hockey game with a great happy hour menu. Parking is convenient in a garage next door (although not included). Room service is timely and food is delicious. I loved the restaurant right next door (Sol). I would have given it 5 stars if the bathrooms were updated and if there were an indoor pool. But don't get me wrong, this is still a very reasonably priced option to be steps away from the marina!

I just returned from a trip to LA and had the best stay at the Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina. From start to finish the hotel was perfect, it is just a short drive from LAX and so nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown LA and right next to the beach! The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms have a wonderful view of the marina and ocean and were clean and comfortable. They also have a great pool and jacuzzi with a spacious deck perfect for relaxing. I will definitely be coming back!
