A Magical, Priceless Family Experience at Soneva Fushi From the moment we landed on the private seaplane dock, we felt the magic of Soneva Fushi, a place where barefoot elegance, heartfelt service, and a genuine connection to nature come together in perfect harmony. The "no news, no shoes" welcome set the tone for an escape unlike any we’ve experienced. Soneva’s SLOWLIFE philosophy — Sustainable, Local, Organic, Wellness, Learning, Inspiring, Fun, Experiences — was not just a slogan, but a way of life that we witnessed and felt in every aspect of our stay. From solar-powered villas and zero plastic policies to lush jungle pathways and conscious culinary creations, this ethos is lived, not marketed. We stayed in a large and spacious three-bedroom villa nestled beside the turquoise lagoon. Every villa at Soneva Fushi is uniquely designed, no two are the same, and they range up to incredible nine-bedroom private residences. Our villa featured a private pool, direct beach access, a children’s room, a cozy library nook, and thoughtful, personal touches that made it feel like a true home. It was serene, luxurious, and completely in harmony with nature. Food was an unforgettable journey. Unlimited access to the chocolate room, ice cream room, and cheese room brought childlike joy to our whole family. Dining at Out of the Blue was a highlight, where Alaa delivered graceful service and Bella crafted refreshing mocktails with heart. Chef Ravi Poojari, whom we affectionately called the Dosa Man, surprised us daily with breakfast creations rooted in tradition yet bursting with innovation. Maya, Jameel, Afla, and the rest of the breakfast team made each morning feel like a celebration. Our children adored The Den, the most extraordinary kids’ club we’ve ever encountered. With two swimming pools with slides, pirate ships, a LEGO zone, a dress-up theater, an indoor cinema, and a tech-free library, it was a world of discovery, joy, and learning. It wasn’t just a play space, it was a wonderland built with care and imagination. Wellness was an integral part of the experience. Bike rides through jungle trails, the Soneva Soul spa with healing treatments by Wiwi and Saly, the glassblowing studio, and the coral restoration lab created a sense of calm, inspiration, and renewal for the entire family. We missed the morning yoga and night stargazing at the observatory, and we have kept them for next time. But what truly set Soneva Fushi apart was the humanity and depth of care in its service. When our daughter needed medical attention, Christina, our barefoot guardian, took charge with warmth and clarity. She arranged a nurse to visit our villa, coordinated hospital transport, stayed with us barefoot the entire time, and ensured we felt safe, supported, and never alone. To our surprise, we were never charged — not for the transport, not for the medication, and not for the hospital. It was pure, genuine care, the kind you would expect from family, not a resort. We’d also like to recognize others who made our stay exceptional: Captain Yusoof, Boat Crew Jameel, Captain Tholle, Boat Crew Mohan, Destination Manager Zaheen, Fruit Man Niranju who inspired us daily with his fresh offerings and health advice, Raheema with her kind heart and excellent service, Areej and his great fast service, Anas our villa guardian who made our house clean all the time, and Wiwi and Saly from the spa. These individuals and many others made us feel seen and valued every single day. Soneva Fushi is more than a luxury resort, it is a transformative lifestyle destination where every experience feels intentional, meaningful, and unforgettable. Some moments in life are truly priceless, and this was one of them. We left with full hearts, inspired minds, and a deep wish to return again soon. June 2025

My girlfriend Alice and I had the most amazing time in one of the beach Villas. It was the most special holiday I have ever been on by quite a distance. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel right at home very quickly, epically Jen. This is something I will never forget and forever hold close - a very special island indeed.

Beach villas are not worth the price at all, The roof is like cardboard can’t get quality sleep because of the sounds and the villa have many openings for the lizards to come in one of the lizards fell on my head while sitting on the sofa and they’re very noisy at night, The price of the villa is not justifiable at all. Other than that the experiences are nice and unique the nature and the island itself is very beautiful
