The place it's just like the name: Songbird Sanctuary! Comfortable and decorated with taste, the place has everything we needed for our stay. It's quiet and definitely the ideal location to explore the castles, Chenonceau is maybe a mile away! Very welcoming hosts, full taste authentic french cuisine in a picturesque place and local wines are just fantastic. Great bedding and bathroom comfort. The house is part of a larger estate and there are a couple of troglodyte guesthouses and a beautiful garden!
Incredible, unique stay. Naomi has done all amazing job with this place, was responsive and a wonderful host. The location is peaceful while still close to Amboise. We only wish we could have stayed longer! If you are even considering staying here, just book it.
The cave-like room is beautifully decorated, as is the shower room. The temperature is ideal in summer, with natural air conditioning. The owner provides a refrigerator and microwave, allowing us to eat in. The rental is very well located for visiting castles, the zoo, and the Loire Valley.
