Songbirds Rainforest Retreat

Absolutely stunning. Booked on a whim, the last room. The staff are exceptional and the cabins are really comfortable. We went in the rain which made the stay even more magic. The only regret is we didn't explore the huge property. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing. From all the previous bad reviews I had mixed feelings and went with no expectations but this is by the far, the best rainforest cabin I have stayed in across Mount Tamborine. I should of stayed 2 nights. It would be a fantastic place if you need to recharge

Stayed up at Songbirds for a friday getaway and unwind. Cabin 6 is amazing, tucked up on the hill. Large comfy bed, great gas fireplace, private and large spa and shower. The extra touches of candles ect really set the atmosphere. coffee on the balcony listening to the whip birds was a relaxing start to the day with zero noise other then rustling of leaves The hot plate of mixed chicken grill was great as a relaxed dinner and an easy wander down from the rooms!! Rooms are nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. Host was lovely, easy going. The grounds and restaurant (closed entirely) are quite run down at the moment, though some of that would be thanks to the horrendous weather they've had this year. Wonder if there are any plans to revamp it as we will likely choose somewhere else next time.
