Stayed July 10-12, 2025 Had a really great time at this place. The location is perfect. It is right in Old Town Lijiang so you can just walk around and explore everything easily. The owner is honestly amazing. She's super friendly and always offered us tea whenever we saw her around the hotel. When we had to leave early one morning for a day trip, she even packed breakfast for us to take with us, which was really thoughtful. Our room had this cool traditional Chinese design that fit perfectly with being in the old town. It felt authentic but still had modern stuff like an electronic bidet in the bathroom. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here. The owner's hospitality made it feel more like staying with a friend than just another hotel. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Lijiang.

This charming boutique hotel is nestled perfectly within the Old Town, offering a tranquil escape while still being easily accessible to everything. What truly makes this place special is its unique character. It's been beautifully converted from an old, traditional house into a lovely, modern boutique hotel that retains so much of its original charm. The rooms are incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean – a real luxury! But the heart of this hotel is undoubtedly the owner. He, along with his wife, goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels truly welcomed and cared for. From the moment I checked in, their personalized service was exceptional. They greeted me with delicious cookies and other thoughtful snacks throughout the day, which was such a lovely touch. Beyond the treats, they were incredibly helpful in recommending special things to see and do around Lijiang, offering genuine insights that you wouldn't find in a guidebook. If you're looking for a personalized, comfortable, and truly memorable stay in Lijiang, I highly recommend Artistic Suite Hotel. It's more than just a place to sleep; it's an experience thanks to its beautiful conversion and the incredibly hospitable owners.

As a global traveller this boutique hotel with 9 rooms in the Lijiang ancient town has character, well maintained & makes us feel home away from home! The managers Julia, Jeffery went out of their ways to address our needs. The rooms are well lit, good size, and well laid out. They extended a picked up service at the speed train station as it’s not easy to find your way in the ancient town. We stayed 4 nights, highly recommend this hotel!
