Sonnencamping Albstadt

I have camped there for one night in my tent. The place is well designed, parking lot is big enough, toilets and showers are very clean, the receptionist is very helpful and kind. There's a corner where one can grill too. Ground texture is hard, you need a hammer for the tent poles. There's no noise except than the cars passing by on the main road near.

We spent a weekend hiking with a small car and a VW T4 at a campsite. The restroom facilities are very new and modern. No frills, but a great location for many hikes in this region.

EDIT: We consistently came to Sonnencamping regularly for about three years, but unfortunately it's gotten FAR too expensive for what's offered here. A shame, it was my favorite place in this general area. :( --------------------------- This campsite exceeded our expectations! We loved it. They have two different levels of pitches, the upper one offering lovely views. In addition to the camping, there are about 12 bungalows on the far side of the site that look very modern and cozy. The bathrooms are so spotlessly clean, it almost looked like they were brand new. They have a small store next to the reception with anything a camper might need as well as cold drinks. The only thing that I didn't like very much was the use of a small fob used to unlock the door to the bathrooms and showers. It's very inconvenient to have to remember to have it with you constantly just if you need to use the restroom. We actually ended up forgetting ours inside once (which was thankfully returned to the reception so we could pick it up again and weren't out the 20€ deposit on it). Aside from that, we couldn't have been happier with out stay here and would gladly return!
