We stayed at Sonnenhof for 2 nights (2 adults + 2 kids) as part of a larger trip through Austria. All of us agreed that we should have spent more time at this hotel and in the general Achensee area. The hotel is renovated, with the best combination of Austrian tradition and new amenities. The staff and owners are incredibly accommodating, professional and friendly. The breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious. And the spa experience - so luxurious!
Such a great place to stay with a small kid (5 months old). Spacious room with an amazing view from the balcony. All facilities are on top level, you feel love in each detail. Incredibly welcoming owners and delicious dinner. Thanks a lot for the great stay!
We spent our holiday in this hotel in October. Our main requests were barrierfree location and hotel and I need to tell we were very satisfied. Locality - a lot of barrierfree or at least partly barrierfree trip possibilities. You can see people here are used to have handicapped tourists and they know exactly what to do. Everything went smoothly. Hotel: I appreciate barrierfree room and also the fact that they were ready and able to lent us all the equipment we needed - such as handles, anti-slipping mat or highen toilet seat. Nothing seemed to be a problem in our case. Hotel is fully accessible. Food was simply delicious. Even after a few months we still remeber those amazing dishes we tasted there. Also, if you have special dietary needs - there seems to be no problem with them, just ask (in my case lactose-free, gluten-free and low histamine). Wellness is also very good in there, even though we were not in a condition to try everything they offer. The Huber family and all the employees are very helpful and do their maximum to make you feel comfortable and satisfied. Nothing seemed to be a problem - all we needed to do was ask. We highly recommend choosing this locality and this hotel for our vacation. In our case we can tell it was definitely worth quite a long journey there. Thanks for having us!
