I and my husband had a wonderful experience at the Sonnenhotel Adler. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Food including breakfast, lunch, and dinner was really delicious. They offer plenty of trips included in the price and the hotel is extremely dog-friendly. That was a very big advantage for us, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore the neighborhood.
This must be a special place. I was walking on the Villander alm and as I was nearing one of its mountain tops I bumped into a spot where a chef behind a barbecue was making food for a group of people. As I was quite hungry I asked whether I could order food. Long story short: this barbecue is specially organised for guests of Hotel Adler in the village down the alm each wednesday, but I was invited to join and payed a small fee. After the food schnaps was served and then the chef started playing on his accordion. An experience I will never forget.
