The room felt a bit outdated, but it had a great mountain view and the buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food! Good value resort!
Sonobel Cheonan (East Wing Family Cooking Standard Family Twin) Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Sonobel Cheonan in October with my 🥚. 😊 The game facilities were great, providing lots of fun for the kids, and the overall resort amenities were well-maintained. 🏞️ The room had a kitchen, which made it easy to cook our own meals. 🍳🍲 Plus, cleaning up afterward was convenient with everything provided. The parking lot was spacious, so no worries about finding a spot. 🚗 The accommodation was clean and comfortable, making it perfect for families! 👨👩👧👦 I’m already looking forward to coming back next summer for some water fun! 🌊☀️
Rooms are acceptable. The resort mainly serves families with young children. The lobby has several indoor activities for the kids (virtual sports gaming, indoor maze, not free by the way) which remain open when the water-park is closed for the season. Our family of 4 adults reserved a room in mid-November. Parking was a bit confusing. They had blocked access to the driveway next to the lobby front desk. We had to first park in their parking lot (free), take an elevator up a certain tower there, and walk another 100-200 meters (through a walkway connection) to reach the front desk to check in. Carts for luggage are by the front desk. (not by the parking area). You must either walk with your luggage from the parking to the desk for a cart, or bring a cart after check in all the way back to your car. This was a bit difficult for our family, but we managed. The room became quite hot at night, but there was no remote for the indoor fan/air conditioning to circulate the air. Apparently the hotel collects every room's air conditioning remote control during winter season. It took 2 phone calls to the front desk for them to finally bring one to us. The hotel is very close to the Independence Hall of Korea (~5 min drive), which made the hotel desirable. But you may want to reconsider if you are a large group traveling together, due to the awkward layout and unavailable amenities we experienced.
