SONO Belle Gyeongju

The rooms are adequate and have a kitchenette with dishes, a pot and pan, an electric hot water kettle, and rice cooker with a nice sized refrigerator. If you are new to Korea be aware that there are very small "bath" towels and they smelled of mildew. They're about the size of a hand towel and there's only a few. We had to ask twice for extras. The upsides were the view from our room and the price is very reasonable considering the kitchenette.

The view from our room at Sono Belle was just… wow. Step out onto the balcony, and you get a panoramic view of Bomun Lake, with the mountains in the background. We arrived just in time for sunset — the sky turned golden, painting the entire lake and hills in soft orange and pink. Turn your head to the left and you’ll even spot Gyeongju World in the distance 🎡 It was such a peaceful and beautiful moment. If you love a room with a view — this place delivers.

This Place was pretty bad. The rooms are very old and have 2 rooms. Don’t be fooled though, only ONE room actually has a bed. Bathroom is always wet from taking a shower because it leaks to the floor in BOTH bathrooms. Whenever you need to use the bathroom at night, a sensor detects you and turns on the lights waking everybody else in the room. Also the waterpark is a total ripoff. For a kid and an adult the price is ₩75000 NOT INCLUDING a life jacket which you need to access the wave pool. There is only Kid attractions with a couple of hot tubs for adults. Bathroom at the pool is NASTY. There is urine on the floor, smells terrible and unfleshed toilets. The only decent part of the hotel is the view.
