Soraniwa Terrace Kyoto Bettei

My wife and I stayed here in April. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and beautiful with a great view, and a well-stocked minibar. The highlight was the private onsen on the balcony which was very warm and relaxing after a day of exploring Kyoto. The rooftop bar provided spectacular views of the city and surrounds, with great options of sitting near a warm fire or dipping our feet in the water from the hot springs. The hotel is close to bars, restaurants and other great places. We can’t wait to come back some day!

Stayed for 1 night at this hotels. Wonderful experIence overall. Really comfortable rooms that are well equipped with the basic amenities. The on-site onsen was amazing. Location of the property was also great with walking distance to the train station and other attractions. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.

Delightful hotel. The rooms are small but very stylishly done. The highlight is the onsen/hot baths, which are separated for men and women. The facilities are identical and they rotate them each day because the views are slightly different. The rooms are (of course) very clean and you get fresh spa robes each day. The staff were lovely, super helpful. Great location, three minutes from the super busy parts of Kyoto. Have already recommended to a friend.
