An incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was excellent always friendly and attentive. The service was impeccable at all times. The rooms were beautiful, well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We especially loved our room with a balcony it was a great touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. The couple traveling with us had a room without a balcony, and they also had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed their stay. We want to highlight the breakfast staff in particular they were absolutely the best. They took care of us with warmth and exceptional dedication. The coffee and everything they served was delicious, and they were always attentive to our needs. The cleanliness of the hotel was spotless, with everything very well maintained. The location is also ideal close to everything, especially the lake, which was perfect for enjoying the surroundings. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to family and friends.
The champagne upon arrival was next level after a long day of travel. The beds were even better! So comfy and soft. The breakfast in the morning was so fresh and had a lot of options. The fresh squeezed OJ was AMAZING! Would book again!!
At first glance, I thought this place was great. It’s cute trendy and has nice furnishings. I would have given it 5 stars but then discovered issues. The heating/cooling system is an absolute dealbreaker. There are no adjustments you can make and the room temperature is too high. 25° C is not OK for a 24 hour temperature. There is a QR code you scan for instructions on how to adjust. We did that and followed all instructions. Nothing changed. In a 24 hour period the temperature constantly read 25 degrees no change whatsoever. We were miserable at night. Thankfully, my partner heard that you could borrow a fan from the front desk. That is the only thing that saved us. However, that is a very bad sign. When multiple people have to borrow fans it is because the AC system does not work. It is nearly 90° outside. With a room charge over $500 a night you expect decent heating and cooling. The other main issue is the complete lack of disability accommodations. To be fair, we found this common in many European hotels. We are traveling with an 80-year-old who has difficulty with stairs and getting in and out of high bathtubs. We asked for a handicapped room and were told there were only two in the entire hotel and they were already full. Since this hotel was booked by our tour group, we were not able to ask for one ahead of time. It was a safety risk for our family member to even get a daily shower. Although the bathroom looked clean, when I took a bath, my view of the grout in the tile was pretty bad. Needs a good cleaning and fill in some gaps. Everything in the room is miniature sized. Although the bed is very comfortable, if you have to stay here more than one night there’s really no place to sit. A mini chair that is not even really a chair. Overall, we definitely would not stay here again. Adding to this already dismal experience, we discovered today (Saturday) that the entire lobby and all its services are closed all weekend. No bar, restaurant, beverages, snacks, table seating, NOTHING is open on weekends. The hotel is currently FULL of tourists who were booked as a group by agents of a major upscale cruise line. No amenities whatsoever are available on the weekends. Really?? Can I give it negative stars? I’m appalled. Also, it claims to be a smoke free property. We have a balcony with an ashtray provided sitting 3 feet from an open door to our room. That’s not smoke free. What else will I have to add before we check out?
