The Moran was exactly what I needed for a weekend getaway! Location is great, In walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The staff were very nice, breakfast was great and so was my view. Pictures truly don’t do it as much justice. The rooms were clean and bright. Staff was on top of making sure the wet bar was restocked as well. I will definitely stay again.
My fiance and I stayed at this beautiful hotel in the Deluxe King room over the weekend and I must say that it was AMAZING!!! From the services and staff to the atmosphere. The renovations made in this location were awesome. The moment I walked into The Moran I was immediately met with a ravishing scent that took over the entire building that I can appreciate. The room was big and fully stocked, ready for retreat. Last but not least, the shopping outlets right outside was a true convenience. We will definitely stay here again.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3.75/5 stars) **Modern hotel with great amenities, but some operational hiccups** The Moran Hotel delivers on style and location, with a sleek modern vibe that feels fresh and contemporary. The second-floor setup is well thought out - check-in, restaurant, bar, and pool are all conveniently located on the same level, with easy access via a bridge from the parking garage (free parking is a huge plus in this area). **What impressed me most:** The rooms are genuinely modern with smart TVs that allow Netflix and YouTube login - a nice touch for travelers. The shower was a standout feature with fantastic pressure and more space than typical hotel bathrooms. Quality amenities like robes and coffee makers were provided, and the bed was comfortable. The location can't be beat for accessing City Center restaurants and shopping. **Areas that need attention:** Unfortunately, the operational side didn't match the polished facilities. Check-in took over 30 minutes with staff who seemed new and unfamiliar with basic processes. Elevator waits were frequent, and there weren't enough luggage carts available. The fitness center was closed for cleaning at 8:30 AM on two separate days - cleaning should really happen during off-peak hours. Several small details suggested inconsistent attention to service: housekeeping restocked only decaffeinated coffee, and there were unpainted drywall repairs visible in the restroom. Also worth noting - the beds sit quite low to the floor, which could be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. **Bottom line:** Despite the service inconsistencies, the hotel's modern amenities, excellent location, and quality facilities make it a solid choice. With some operational improvements, this could easily be a 5-star experience. I'd stay again, but hopefully they'll iron out these service kinks. *Great for: Business travelers, shopping enthusiasts, guests who prioritize modern amenities*
