Sorobon Luxury Beach Resort

Just returned from a week's stay at Sorobon which was lovely! We prefer quieter locations and hotels, and Sorobon was perfect for that (although it is low season right now). The staff at the hotel and Reef Bar were all extremely friendly and attentive to any needs that we had. We rented an ocean front room which was just steps away from the cabanas and water, but still had nice privacy. The rooms are a bit minimalistic, but perfectly satisfactory. The beds were super comfortable and AC was nice a frosty when needed (although the hot water is really scalding hot - be careful!). Sorobon is undergoing expansion (due to be completed by December) and our room backed onto the construction of the new rooms and villas. However, the rooms are super well insulated and cleverly positioned so that we never really even noticed that there was some work going on, and we never heard any noise during the day or night. We cook in a lot due to some food allergies, and the kitchen area, while small, was perfectly adequate and had all modern appliances (and a nice Nespresso machine). We really don't have anything but positive feedback about the resort, the location and the staff - all wonderful and we miss it already!!

Unbelievable beauty at this place. So peaceful and amazing staff. The people are incredibly friendly, the hotel is right on Sorobon and you can walk to 3 spots for windsurfing and wing foiling . It’s directly in front of the hotel! Gotta experience it and come here!!!!

Shared walls are noisy at the adjoining door, you can hear everything. Service was great until the end. Cleaning service daily but on the last day our toilet paper had not been replaced and we ran out. Menu was limited I do not recommend all inclusive. Get a car to see the island.
