Sorrento Nest Rose

We , a party of 5 adults , chose this apartment because of the location , close to the train station and amenities. Mind you , this was not cheap but expensive . All hotels or apartments are expensive in Sorrento or Naples or Rome where we stayed as well. We needed 2 bathrooms and 5 beds, so we booked it about 2 months before we booked our flights. The apartment , at first glance , was fine but on closer examination had a few things out of place like the taps coming off the wall and windows which cannot opened because the ratchet was broken. Rubbish bags were left by the previous occupants on site and the owner did not removed them. Owner told us about when the rubbish was to be deposited outside the apartment on a certain day so that they can be collected by the refuse truck? We forgot about that as instructions were not written down for us. Owner does not live nearby but said he lived in Naples ? Not in Sorrento . We had to wait about 10 minutes outside the apartment block before he arrived to let us in at 3 pm. He collected some money from us for the local taxes but no receipt was given. Basically he did not seemed to be professional in the way he dealt with us. . The sofa , on closer examination was old and all in all the apartment needed updating . I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. We stayed here for 5 nights in Sept 2024 .
