Sotis Hotel Kupang

It was one of the great hotel I stayed in Indonesia during the trip. The hotel manager and the front staff was very supportive and also helped in English-which I appreciated a lot!! It takes a bit time until receiving the meal, so better to order early. The other young staffs do his/her bests for survice. Some other hotel users are being loud until late night or early morning (either karaoke or just talking in the room), which made me trouble to sleep in, but it is not the fault of the hotel. Location was perfect, next to the beach, perfect location to see a sunset. I liked a lot because locals also enjoy the same beach. During the weekend there is a street food festival which is held by hotel, and not just hotel users but also locals can enjoy. I can highly recommend to stay over. It was a great experience to stay here. The staff are very polite and friendly. Food are delicious specially sate ayam and ikan kuah asam. I loved the sunset view, It's perfect. I will recommend you to stay here when you visit Kupang Thank you Sotis

We were greeted with no air conditioning in the lobby, the overwhelming smell of dirty socks after exiting the single operating elevator, a hot room with a strong smell of cleaning chemicals and stained furniture and curtains. No hand soap and only 2 towels and a bath mat. The sounds of heavy chairs dragged across the tile floor and the neighbours arguing with their kids are an added bonus. Just what you want after a long day of travel. The hotel is blessed with a beautiful beachfront hotel that is tainted by a beach of garbage. The idea of swimming with the garbage is unappealing. They don’t put loungers on the beach, it’s even hard to access. The best part of the hotel and they ignore it. Sad The pool is nice but no cushions for the rattan furniture. Not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in but the biggest disappointment. The only thing that saves it from a worse score was the friendly staff and the low price.
