My experience was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made my stay truly enjoyable. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive at all times. Everything was clean, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant offered a selection of sophisticated and delicious dishes. The pet-friendly area was very well organized, which made it even more comfortable for guests traveling with animals. Easy access to the beach and the breathtaking views—especially the sunsets—made everything simply wonderful. A truly great choice. I highly recommend

We had our wedding at the Sound View in June 2025. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful or stress-free wedding day. The Sound View was the perfect venue in every way. Kelly, the catering director, was such a pleasure to work with—responsive, organized, and incredibly thoughtful. She answered every question thoroughly and quickly, and made the entire planning process feel manageable. The contract, pricing, menu, and details were all super clear, and she made room block adjustments a breeze as our guest list shifted. One of the best parts of having our wedding here was the food. Since it’s a full-service restaurant, everything was truly delicious—from the tasting (one of the most fun parts of planning!) to the wedding dinner itself. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food and drinks. We were able to personalize our menu with some amazing appetizers, stations, and a gelato bar, which was a huge hit. Our beach ceremony was an absolute dream. Kelly handled all of the rentals and coordinated the rehearsal the night before, working seamlessly with our day-of coordinator. On the day itself, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Most of our guests were from California and used to stunning venues—but they couldn’t get over how gorgeous this beachfront, sunset-over-water spot was in New York. It blew everyone away. Every staff member—from the chefs and bartenders to valets, wait staff, and housekeeping—was kind, professional, and warm. The hotel itself was gorgeous, our suite was huge, and the setting was stunning. We'll be looking back at our photos forever and feeling so grateful we chose the Sound View. Truly unforgettable.

Wow. WOW WOW WOW. I had the pleasure of having dinner at The Halyard and it was probably the best food, wine and ambiance I have had. You can't beat being seated with a gorgeous sunset view right beside you - the wait staff was super attentive and knew the items so they could answer questions about the menu. I started off with a killer cocktail (I said I like vodka and some fizz and they made me an incredible drink!) and then switched to wine. The food was absolutely OUTSTANDING. Everything from the fresh seafood to the French fries was delicious and served perfectly. I highly recommend The Halyard for a special meal!!
