Great hotel, fantastic location and the staff were amazing. All inclusive range was good at dinner and lunch. Only thing that needed improving was WiFi in room (as did not reach ours) and breakfast offerings. Would definitely stay again.
Edit (while I’m still here) Long story short: There’s no way this is a 5 star hotel. Let’s say about 3? While the entrance is beautiful and the beach is close, the amenities are inexistent. The food, if you like food, really poor. - even the snacks in the afternoon are not part of the all inclusive. (That’s a new one). Drinks are ok, but the bar that’s in the hotel, you have to pay for it even if you’re on all inclusive. I’ll take some pictures today and post it here as to why you shouldn’t waste your money here. And no, it wasn't a cheap trip. Hotel entrance: 5 ⭐️ Location and view - 4 ⭐️ Rooms - 3 ⭐️ Food - 1 ⭐️ (very very few poor choices) Service (reception and waiters) - 1 ⭐️ (rude and arrogant) Value for the money - 2 ⭐️
rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Sousse Palace was unacceptable from start to finish. Let’s start with check-in. The official check-in time posted at the front desk was 2:00 PM, yet we were not given our room keys until after 4:30 PM. We waited for hours in the lobby with our children. After I paid an extra $20 at the front desk, we were finally allowed to check in — which is completely inappropriate and felt like we were being pressured to pay to get what we already booked. When we entered our rooms, it got even worse. There was no air conditioning in my room, and my children’s room was just as bad. In the middle of summer, with high temperatures, this is completely unacceptable. We informed the staff, but the customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. No follow-up, no urgency, no apology. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Delayed check-in, poor customer service, no AC, and feeling like I had to bribe my way into a room. Sousse Palace markets itself as a luxury hotel, but our experience was far from it. I do not recommend this hotel and would urge management to take these issues seriously before more guests are left disappointed.
