This hotel is a barred of fun. Located above a pub with live music. You hardly hear this in your room. But you do hear outside fun. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. Style pinewood and brick walls. All recently done. The location is spot in the hotspot.

One of my favourites pubs in Dublin, different than classic Irish pubs but nice atmosphere and lovely staff. There is live 3 days at week (trad Irish and jazz/blues). Perfect place for enjoy a chat with your friends!!!!!

Oof. MAJOR NOISE ALERT! I am from NYC and grew up on a very loud, busy avenue full of ambulance sirens and parades at all hours of the night. I knew that we’d hear live music and merriment until the wee hours at O’Regan’s, which I didn’t mind. I was able to nap pleasantly through all of that past midnight. But this morning, the horrible noise began at 5:30am and lasted until after 8am. Every 2-3 seconds from 5:30am until 6:40am, empty metal kegs were being tossed onto the top of a truck full of metal kegs right outside our windows. Torturous sound even with the windows closed. From 7:15am-8am, there was some sort of high pitched constant fog horn or sucking sound coming from downstairs. Awful. From 7:40am-8:15am, something heavy was being rolled directly over our heads that shook all of the walls. This was all our pleasure for €300 a night…! One young male staff member we dealt with in the afternoons and evenings was extremely lovely, but there was no human to be found in the morning when we came downstairs with a time sensitive logistical question (not about the noise), and another staff member working the bar smelled very strongly of mildew. A cool pub, convenient location, and the room itself was clean and otherwise pleasant (besides a flooding shower stall), but I wouldn’t pay to stay in this noise amusement park torture chamber, if you can avoid it, or you’re a masochist. So bummed. We were excited to stay here!
