very bad customer service. They do answer the phone, but you won't get any room service, even after they tell you we will get your service right away. The blankets were dirty, the table was dirty, the kitchen cabinets have used bread and a bag of chips. The hair drier doesn't work. And when i called about all that, they say we will get service right away to take care of it, and the room service never shows up. Even after i called like 100 times. The car valet parking, which is owned by a different company tried stealing my shoes. I parked my car and my shoes were in the car trunk the second day i couldn't find my shoes in the trunk, i started complaining, long story short, after going back and forth between the reception desk and the valet desk, they say oh we found them next to the valet desk !!!!
This was a terrible experience... First, check-in took about an hour as the manager/owner who sat behind anonymity demanded copies of my credit card and identification; although we were physically standing there, with the cards. Digital copies should be required before payments are processed, not after reservations are confirmed! Secondly, there is no parking! Not even handicap parking (according to the receptionist)! And, although owners have assigned spots, this owner has not made the parking space available for renters, therefore, we were directed to the parking garage to pay an attendant. When we arrived at the garage, the attendant would not accept cash and stated he would use his cell phone to process the payment! We did not feel comfortable with the process, so we again asked about handicap parking. The attendant stated he had no knowledge of any handicap parking. So, we parked about 2 blocks away on the street. Thirdly, upon entrance, the condo seemed okay. But, there were deeper issues: (a) The space was not santitized, there were stains on surfaces like the dining table, chairs, and bathroom sink that simply needed to be wiped away. (b)There were small pubic-looking hairs in the bathroom sink and hair in the refrigerator. (c) The bed was very low to the ground and had a single mattress. (d) We got very little sleep because it felt like we were being watched all night. (e) And, even with light music playing we could hear every little sound from the residents above and next door. (f) This condo is not a beachside condo as it appears in the pictures, it's located before you drive over the bridge that takes you to A1A and the beach. Ultimately, this was not a luxurious, relaxing experience and I strongly recommend you book with a reputable hotel chain along the beach instead.
Upon arrival, I was told that the front desk could not check me in without an authorization form from the owners. There was never any authorization form sent to me, so the front desk then had to try and contact someone directly to email it over. After getting the authorization form sent and having to try and fill it out, that process took another 45min to an hour, which you can imagine is beyond inconvenient after coming from a long flight, especially when this form should’ve been sent to me beforehand. So I was finally able to check in to my room and to my unpleasant surprise, the room was in terrible condition. Along with the many issues this place has, like the horrible communication (there is no direct host or onsite concierge you can contact) and a piece of the balcony window being completely detattached from the wall (I had to hunt down maintenance to fix this, but why was a whole window piece dettached from the wall in the first place?), during my stay I had to deal with bugs (yes bugs), dents/stains on the walls, chipping paint in the entire bathtub, and a dirty stained bathmat (yes they rented it with the place in this condition). Once I was finally able to get in contact with someone from their customer service line the next day, I explained all the issues and was told that they were so sorry and that they’d be looking into compensation for my stay. Fast forward two weeks later, did not receive any refund or any update from them. Would never recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy. A one star review is gracious.
