Very nice hotel, very well equipped, the staff were accommodating and helpful. Parking is a little but tricky but nothing bad BUT the main entrance from the main road is hidden. It shares an entrance with Mimosa Malls parking area so you bound to miss it easily but overall I had a good time
There are people that come into your life for a season, this is the staff at Southern Sun. From the reception to the cleaning staff. I stayed here for 6 weeks while working and when I left, it was a teary farewell. The agency that the company used, for the 3rd and 4th week of my stint only booked us in for 2 days citing the hotel is full. I spoke to Amanda at reception and she and her colleagues phoned clients asking if they were still checking in and created nothing short of a miracle! They managed to get the two rooms for the full stay. Service beyond expectations, the extra mile with huge friendly smiles. The wait staff after a day or two knew my room number and my preferred hot beverage and how I like it for breakfast and dinner. We became friends, with lots of laughs and jokes. Superb customer service, not to be beaten easily. The rooms were serviced daily with the towels being changed daily. When you meet them in the passages or in your room they greet and have a little chat while they're busy.
The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The carpet is bit of problem for people with sinus issues and the AC is a bit noisy. The service is good. Very friendly staff. I love the proximity to the mall. It comes in handy for extended stays.
