We have been staying at this hotel for years, normally when the Springboks play at Loftus, and the vibe and service there is just awesome. Kabelo needs a special mention because his dedication is just on another level and he literally goes above and beyond at all times. His conduct is really inspiring. I want to thank everyone for an great stay.
My recent visit at this hotel was both good and disappointing. The place allocated to us was more than we asked for. The food excellent and the service good. But we had to disabled people with us who struggled to get from the parking lot to the hotel. The lift was not working and the stairs way to narrow. And the restrooms were to far from the conference room. If this could be attended to, then this would be the ideal place to have a conference.
I went to a conference there. Google Maps does not take you the right way around to find the parking area, which was an extremely confusing mess. The place feels so cramped and is in such a busy part of the city that you get extremely overwhelmed and aren't sure which way you're going. I did, however, call the hotel to ask for directions and the receptionist was efficient with directions and very kind. The conference area feels a little like the backrooms but it is a beautiful place. The front entrance is stunning once you get up the escalator (don't go to the lift. It says "Lift to Reception". It's wrong. Go up the escalator.) I did not get a chance to see the rooms but the garden and pool area are beautiful. The pool has a stunning waterfall that calms the nerves. I met a man that said that him and his wife had spent a weekend there and they absolutely loved it, so it is definitely a place worth checking out.
