Southpacific Motel and Conference Centre

I stayed for four nights while I worked and went to a friend’s wedding—and I was sad to leave this place. My room was comfy and cute with its own kitchenette. But I think the best part was the incredible service from the family who runs it. I had just flown into Auckland from halfway around the world that morning, and they let me check in three hours early so I could sleep. They went above and beyond for my entire stay. Plus, the internet was super reliable, which was important for me since I was working remotely while traveling.

I stayed for a night with two friends just after Easter weekend and had a wonderful time. The room was cozy but the high ceilings made it feel very spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The place is themed with palm trees and white sand, making it feel like you've really been transported to a vacation spot. Easy to find on the corner with good parking, and located 2 minutes away the NewWorld and restaurants. The host was easy to talk to and gave suggestions on areas nearby to visit. Didn't have the chance to take advantage of the spa pool unfortunately but would absolutely come back for a longer stay.

Had an awesome stay! The hosts were absolute legends—managed to sort a last-minute booking late at night, which was such a lifesaver. The place was super tidy, nice and cool (perfect for the summer heat), and had that coastal vibe that made it feel extra special. Plus, it was so close to town, which made everything easy. Would definitely stay again!
