Sowell Hôtels Mont Blanc & Spa

We 've had a lovely stay at this hotel for 4 nights, with the all inclusive option. The hotel was very cosy and clean, the staff very very polite and helpful. The views to the mountains were amazing. The food was good, a long buffet with many options. We also tried the spa, it was very clean. The outdoor pool was ok, but it could have been better heated. One small issue: the lights turned on automatically in the bathroom and the entrance closet and you didn't have enough time to close the door behind you, so at night this was annoying for the others sleeping in the room. In general, great hotel, great value for money! We would like to go back and we would definitely recommend it!

If you are having second thoughts about this property, go ahead and make your booking you will not regret it. This property offers excellent value for money: - In terms of location the hotel is very well located 5 mins away from the cabin that will take you all the way to the ski slopes. As long as you rent a locker on the slopes and keep your material up there you will be able to enjoy your stay. Upon arrival the receptionist gave us a 20% discount voucher for the ski gear from SKILOC. In all fairness this shop offers excellent ski material and is cheaper than shops in the village. Would highly recommend renting your material and/or a locker from Skiloc and enjoying the peace of mind. - In terms of service: The team at the hotel is very friendly, professional, kind and helpful. - In terms of the rooms: Let's put things in perspective. This is not a luxury 5 stars hotel. This is essentially in winter a ski accommodation. Like most ski accommodations they are a little bit old. But the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the bedsheets are fresh, the towels are changed daily. So if you are looking for a warm, comfy room to have a hot shower and sleep after a long ski day you will not be disappointed. If you want perfection you would better book in a 5 stars hotel. The rooms offer excellent value for money, ours had 2 terraces and a great view. - The restaurant and the buffet are excellent. Quality ingredients, generous and varied buffet, different menus everyday and a huge selection of desserts. The staff is very helpful and kind. We were able to find an available table daily during our 6 days stay even though it was the busiest time of the year. - The bar has a multiple free selection of quality drinks, and the premium drinks are really inexpensive. The lounge areas is very nice, it has a cosy feeling and very welcoming. - Free outdoor parking available which is really a plus, the hotel has a pool and a SPA as well. It has a marvelous outdoor terrace, with a great view. Finally, Regis the manager is professional, kind and helpful. Thank you to all the team for your warm welcome and helpful attitude during our stay. We will definitely come back to this property.

REPLYING TO THE HOTEL’S RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW!! : First of all, you confused the customer in your response to my review. We are not the customer you mentioned! We had no request regarding check-in and did not experience any issues with the check-in process. Secondly, we had never display Do Not Disturb sign!! Are you making all these up? Seriously!! And daytime female receptionist, who is I think in her forties, doesn't speak English!! Anyway, my pictures speak for themselves regarding the condition of the hotel. To be honest, you should feel embarrassed after seeing the images I've shared! I sound harsh, but we were very disappointed with the hotel conditions. I will also never book a holiday with Weski. We can't trust their hotel selections again!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This hotel is very old and a dump!! Our room is lower floor the room stink!! The room hadn't been cleaned properly, although we asked to change the bed sheets they never changed it in 5 days!! The daytime receptionist doesn't speak single English words so we couldn't communicate!! Hotel pictures are deceiving! See the pictures I have attached here! Do not go this hotel, don't waste your money and time! Honestly If you have booked this hotel cancel it and re book somewhere else!
