Very good place to stay. Sadly, I didn’t have time enough to enjoy the surroundings as it was a stop-over while en-route toward the Pyrenees. The price is super competitive with a great location, awesome service and tasty food. I had a very peaceful battery-charging stay.
A place to return to without hesitation. Surrounded by nature, with various outdoor activities, including a pool. Hotel Spa Las Abiertas is a beautiful spot in San Bartolomé de las Abiertas: beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and with an atmosphere that invites you to relax from the first moment. Ana, the owner, welcomed us with exceptional, warm, and friendly service, making us feel right at home. I hope she soon finds the staff she needs to be able to make the most of this special place, because it deserves to shine even more. Highly recommended!
I went on a couple's trip to disconnect and relax and decided to return for the second time because we did it a year ago and the experience was good. This time we didn't ask for a spa because it seems expensive 30€ per person and many things don't work. I asked and they still weren't fixed, so we decided to do without it. We asked for a double bed like the last time and the girl on the phone confirmed that it was okay. To our surprise, I found two 90 cm beds pushed together. I let it go because I wanted to disconnect and relax. We went to bed at night and the beds sagged and the cotton pillows were very worn from use. I woke up exhausted, but not like the second night my partner and I had with brutal neck pain. It's a shame they invest so much in the resort's materials, which are of very good quality, and don't provide pillows and mattresses that are worth the 100€ they charge per night. Super friendly staff, though, and if it weren't for the beds, we would have come back in the future. By the way, the Wi-Fi doesn't work well, there's no good coverage, so I used mobile data to use my phone. The breakfast was decent, and they always ask if you'd like more. The quality of the pastries wasn't the best I've had. The croissant I ate the first morning was hard to cut because it was so chewy, even though it was grilled. It's a real shame because you can really disconnect from everything there and relax. The resort is fantastic and well-equipped, and the pool is also fantastic.
