SPA Hotel Ismena

We just got back from four days there and really enjoyed it. The facilities were great, the accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. The mineral water pools were very therapeutic for me and my sore back but for me what really stood out was the staff. I have never encountered a more friendly, helpful and pleasant group of hotel staff before. I would definitely revisit Ismena SPA hotel.

Good SPA, with a mineral water, also the mineral springs outside were as well, where you could spent some time, one of them hotter then the other and suitable for the kids as well. I played with the "suited" cats in the complex and it was fun, at the end we fed them for a goodbye :)

The hotel lies in the middle of the Rhodope Mountains which makes it a place to go and stay for some time! The Spa Areas are good, the food is okay (but could be better, especially in the morning). I didn't like the rooms because they weren't furnished friendly and modern, had some broken power outlets and all in all seemed old und badly maintained. The beds were okay though. I would go here for the location and the spa, I would not come back for the rooms...
