Spa Hotel La Reserve

We have staid here several times. Very comfortable, clean rooms, tremendous breakfast buffet, and the spa is world class. Since we live in Montevideo, we look for dates where we can book a room for a special rate. Yet even without these special rates, the price for a room is very affordable. The Hotel is decorated with native crafts from around the world, so the atmosphere is interesting and inviting. Enjoy!

For a 5 star hotel, it lacks a lot. For example, the breakfast is very poor (bread, low quality biscuits and cakes, very little fruit to choose, and no hot option or eggs) and the room smells as if it were not aired properly. It looks more like a 3 star hotel or a hotel that used to be 5 star but it has been not properly taken care. However, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and the price offers that one can get are sometimes very cheap. Hence, it's a good quality for money ratio - if you are looking to save money.

- Unhelpful and really rude staff. - The hotel looks good at a first glance, but then you realize everything is dirty. - Rooms were incredibly dirty and noisy, I could hear everything happening in my neighbor's room or in the interior lounge. - Room safes wouldn't work. - Spa is awful. - Pool is ok, that's the best thing in this whole place. Wouldn't come back to this hotel even if you paid me for it. If you do book a room here, then good luck!
