Overall the hotel was good! The service was good, the breakfast were definitely the best thing in this hotel. We stayed in this hotel for 3 days last year. The location is also great! I can recommend this hotel! The elevator was small but I was happy there was the elevator!

We arrived and checked into our room, and that’s when the problems started. Despite booking for two adults and two children (explicitly mentioned as 15+), we were given one double bed and one single bed. When we inquired whether a mistake had been made, we were told that no such rooms (that fit that number of people) existed, despite this option being available at the time of booking. The staff were unsure if anything could be done, but after 1–2 hours, they eventually found a spare mattress and placed it on the floor. In addition to this, several areas on the top floor showed signs of leaking roofs and/or water damage due to the rain. Although we had paid for breakfast, we chose not to stay for it on the final day as the quality was so poor. Another concern is that many of the floors and staircases throughout the hotel are uneven, which could easily pose a trip hazard. That said, the location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Old Town and just a short walk from the Astronomical Clock. The decor is also charming and adds to the ambiance.

The best thing is location. Breakfast was not served the whole time and is relatively bad, and we have eaten instead in a nearby Pub. I am a Croat, and my wife is Slovak, so we got everything we need from Czech personell in a hotel, but communicating with Asian kitchen staff was hard. It was couple of years ago, maybe they have improved. Also, parking is/could be a problem as hotel is in a city centre, and parking on the street is hard to find. Rooms are older and not properly cleaned.
